	This ballad combines a number of influences all in one song without sounding too diverse. The romantic style of the sax, the latin percusion, and the jazzy piano and bass come together to make the song happen! It's great for slow sultry dancing and just having a romantic evening with your main squeeze."La Cancion Amor" means, "The Love Song" in Spanish. The first few bars of the tune are based on a song called "Round Midnight", which is an old T.S. Munk standard. It also is heavily influenced by "Europa", which is played by Gato Barbiari on the sax. You can hear that the expression in the melody closely resembles that of Barbiari.To me, this song is a night song, which means that I imagine a sunset on the beach when I hear it.
