	Story Behind the Song I set down to write a rhapsody (a string of unrelated melodies). Hungarian Rhapsody #2 by Liszt is the prototype rhapsody. I wanted to place a re-occurring beat in the bottom score to give it primal, sensuous feel. Did I succeed? You're the judge! This piece has good examples of augmentation and diminuation (changing the time of each note - making it longer or shorter - on each successive pass of a melody or motive). P.S. I also wanted to name this "Erato's Rhapsody". That actually might be a better name.
