Story Behind the Song
One night I was sitting at work, bored as usual. It had been a while since I'd written anything, and just the thought of it made me think of my girlfriend (at the time). I looked up at the clock, grabbed a piece of paper and a pen, and wrote anything that came to mind. The first verse of this song took me exactly 15 Seconds to write - hence the title. After giving the original copy of the poem to my girlfriend, the words became more and more perfect for the song I was working on, so I extended them and added two verses to it. It's remained the same ever since.
Lyrics
All the smiles, and all the first times
Pooled in my heart and showered with your beauty
I have never felt this
Important
Through your light, I can see the stars
And all you are, your every essence
I've never seen the sun, love to touch someone
As much as it loves you
15 seconds are my words
15 seconds from my mouth
15 seconds to your heart
15 seconds in my life
All the laughter, and all the life
That was trapped inside me just waiting to break free
And explore the world through your eyes
Then you came down
From your cloud
And lead the way to my heart
And you held my hand so that I
Was not afraid
15 seconds are my words
15 seconds from my mouth
15 seconds to your heart
15 seconds in my life
All the lessons, and all the love
Filling my mind disguised as the best thing
That has ever happened to me
That's what you are
Under those eyes and behind those lips
You're teasing me with a taste of heaven
And it's so sweet, your soft caress
You are the one
