At first listen Nina appears to be a song
dedicated to an old girlfriend, but in
actuality what it is is a metaphor for something
much more troublesome. PJahbril's faithful
nine millimeter. "I came up with the idea
for this song a dumb long time ago. I wanted
to put to words the way I saw people I knew
romanticize their relationships with their
guns." And he does exactly that, with style
and cleverness noticeable all throughout his
lyrics. PJahbril will definitely be a
contender in the rhyme heavyweight division,
well through the year 2000. |

Story Behind the Song
PJ^"The motivation for this song came from the
way I listened to friends of mine talk about
thier guns. It was like some type of ill relationship.
So one night while I was laying up in the crib, I just
started writing this song. I chose not to finish
it until I was ready to go into the studio.
That way it retains some type of freshness.
Giving me a vibe to work off of. I do that on
most of all my songs. Usually, by the time I
hit the studio, I know the song so well I just
bang it out in no time. Preparation is the
key to success no matter what you're doing.
